It is a happy day for me. I am now waiting for another 5 packages of bees that I will hive into home-made Top Bar Hives. Here is a photo of 2 beehives. Red and Blue :)
I also uploaded short video to youtube of bees coming, going, orientating and establishing their new home.

Radishes are tasty and great looking. No, I am not talking about women but I must say I fell in love with square foot gardening....

As you can see on the photo I didn't take all from radishes squares ( light circles on the photo ) but will be picking this up when I eat radishes picked today. I left the smaller ones of course.

Enjoy your day and remember people ! Grow your own food. Almost nothing more satisfying as eating food from your own garden.

Radish almost ready

Radish is almost ready for eating. I did not prepare soil as Mel Bartholomew says in his All New Square Foot Gardening book and I did not build "perfect" square foot garden with a bottom so there are no weeds and what not.

I just threw some wood boards, nailed those together and threw some soil from the field. I now have a small garden in the middle of peach, apple... orchard.

I am posting some photos of this simple way of gardening. It looks good so far and there are also no weeds to pull so far. It seems simple and we will see how it goes.
