My square foot garden
It is not like I don't have the place to grow fruits and vegetables on a larger place but I find the idea of square foot gardening very attractive. I did not prepare soil as Mel Bartholomew says in his All New Square Foot Gardening
book and I did not build "perfect" square foot garden with a bottom so there are no weeds and what not.
I just threw some wood boards, nailed those together and threw some soil from the field. I now have a small garden in the middle of peach, apple... orchard.
I am posting some photos of this simple way of gardening. It looks good so far and there are also no weeds to pull so far. It seems simple and we will see how it goes.
Day 0

Here is a lost of plants I am growing in my square foot garden so far :
- 2 squares of Spinach
- 3 squares of Onions ( 3 different varieties )
- 1 square Carrots
- 2 squares of Radish
- 1 square of German Chamomile
- 2 squares of Lettuce
- 1 square of Tagetes
I have to plant
- Chili pepper
- Cabbage
