Bees arrived to my backyard
Today I had to get up at 6am to pick up two beehives I left at local beekeeper two days ago who transfered bees from his nucs to my hives. It is a happy day for me. I am now waiting for another 5 packages of bees that I will hive into home-made Top Bar Hives.Here is a photo of 2 beehives. Red and Blue :)
I also uploaded short video to youtube of bees coming, going, orientating and establishing their new home.

First crop in square foot garden

Radish almost ready
Radish is almost ready for eating. I will be picking it up tomorrow or the day after. Ok I admit it ! I already eaten two ;)
Here is a quick photo of the square foot garden. I will post photos of the radish crop when I pick it up.
